Belief in any religion depends on the adherence of the believers of that religion to its religious duties. The form of worship is different in different religions; But in the history of religions, there is no religion without prayer. In Islam, prayer is introduced as a pillar of religion. It is very important to provide a practical model for the implementation of religious duties, and this important thing will not happen unless the guardians of education instill the joy of worship in the hearts of students through their actions and behavior. The main question of the research is to investigate the level of recognition and adherence of student teachers to the duty of prayer and the factors affecting it in Farhangian University, and since the realization of this important task requires the explanation, analysis and interpretation of effective questions in this field, therefore, in terms of method, it is part of analytical-interpretive research. have been used. The method of data collection has been library and field. The results of the analysis of research indicators show that the level of recognition and adherence of male and female students to the duty of prayer is at a "good level"; But in terms of comparison, with a small difference, this level is higher among male students and compared to the six levels explained and the value of the coefficient of influence (0.2) on the one hand and the future role of student teachers as community educators on the other hand.
